KMG Health Partners LTD in Association with WorkMatters and the National Institute of Disability Management and Research
As a result of demonstrated measurable success in lowering the human, social and financial costs of disability, disability management concepts have been embraced by individuals and organisations worldwide. NIDMAR has been the driving force behind this global phenomenon offering disability management training, certification and audit in Canada, Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States and now in the UK, in conjunction with WorkMatters. The variety of courses on offer appeal to rehabilitation and employment service providers, occupational health companies, human resource departments, front line management, union personnel…basically any organisation or individual assisting employees and employers with stay-in-work and return-to-work initiatives.
KMG Health Partners is now contracted to provide NIDMAR training in the UK.
Individuals and organisations are registering for NIDMAR training for a variety of reasons:
• To develop knowledge & skill to practise in absence management, job retention & return to work
• To prepare for certification as a Disability Management Professional or Return to Work Coordinator – this is the first “credential” in vocational rehabilitation in the UK
• To meet Standards of Practice
• To gain Continuous Professional Development credits
• As part of team building, inter / cross disciplinary training, continuous quality improvement.
With its extensive experience in the rehabilitation field, KMG Health Partners is well positioned to offer NIDMAR courses in the UK.
Here are just a few reasons for choosing us:
1. Flexibility, in terms of:
- the modules on offer. Organisations get to select modules that meet their specific needs. Individuals get to tell us which modules they want to be involved in by registering their interest. You can choose from 1 module to all 24.
- delivery. Organisations can choose a training schedule that meets their needs.
- location. KMG can provide courses at the organisation or at a site of their choice. We will also vary locations for individuals based on demand.
2. Experience: Our experienced trainers can provide live examples, relevant case studies, additional information about the field, and assistance with exam preparation if needed.
3. Unparalleled involvement in the sector: The company has been influential in the development of VRA Standards, UK Rehabilitation Council Standards and now the British Standards Institute’s development of a Code of Practice.
